about this poster

Potted lemon tree on a sunny Italian terrace poster

Laden with ripe fruit, a lemon tree grows in a terracotta pot on a sun-drenched Italian terrace. Behind it, a light wall crossed by a diagonal shadow and a flat patch of bold blue sky are all it takes to set the scene. The bright yellow of the lemons, the ochre of the pot and the blue of the sky make up a cheerful, Mediterranean palette. This lemon tree poster is made of just a few elements, yet it holds all the light of a summer afternoon in Italy. The title “LEMON SUNSHINE” goes with it.

An Italian lemon tree for the kitchen or terrace

Its sunny colors brighten a kitchen, dining room, sunroom or entryway. It pairs well with terracotta, faience, light wood, wrought iron and white or sky-blue walls. It can join other posters of lemons, Italy or the Amalfi Coast. A gift for a gardener who tends citrus trees, a friend who loves Italy, a couple back from Sorrento or Capri, or a sunny housewarming.

Your questions

What does “LEMON SUNSHINE” mean?

It is English for “soleil citron”, lemon-colored sunshine. The title accompanies a lemon tree laden with fruit in a terracotta pot, on an Italian terrace in front of a white wall and a blue sky.

Who would love this lemon tree poster as a gift?

It will appeal to a lover of Italy, a gardener who grows citrus in pots or a friend who loves bright colors. It suits a kitchen or a sunroom well.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
