about this poster

Colmar poster, timber-framed houses of Little Venice

Along the canal of Little Venice in Colmar, colorful timber-framed houses stand shoulder to shoulder. Their windows are bright with flower boxes, and a flat-bottomed boat glides gently over the water. This Colmar poster plays on the reflections of the vivid facades in the canal, which double the colors of the scene. The result is charming and typically Alsatian. The title “COLMAR” accompanies this view of the most picturesque part of the city.

An Alsace poster for the kitchen or a Colmar native

Its colorful facades brighten a kitchen, dining room, entryway or bedroom. It pairs well with wood, checked fabrics, stoneware dishes and fresh flowers. It can join other posters of Alsace or of waterside towns. It makes a great gift for an Alsatian who has moved away, a couple who visited Colmar during the holiday season or anyone who loves timber-framed houses.
