about this poster

Eilean Donan Castle in the Highlands poster

Set on its rocky islet, Eilean Donan Castle is linked to the shore by a stone arched bridge. All around, the loch stretches out, calm, and behind it, mountains covered in heather close off the horizon. This Scottish Highlands poster combines the gray of the stone, the blue of the loch and the purple hues of the heather in a romantic, peaceful image. The title “EILEAN DONAN” is printed in the manner of an illustrated travel poster.

A Scotland poster for the living room or a Highlands lover

Its grays, blues and purples suit a living room, an office, a library or a bedroom. It pairs well with tartan, wool, leather, dark wood and stone. It can join other posters of Scotland, castles or mountain lakes. It makes a perfect gift for a lover of Scotland, a Highlands hiker, a whisky enthusiast or a traveler who has seen the castle with their own eyes.
