about this poster

Japanese shopping street at sunset poster

As the sun goes down, a Japanese shopping street settles into calm. Low wooden storefronts line the road, bicycles are parked in front of the shops, and a crosswalk runs across the street. In the distance, a little tram approaches without a sound. Long, dark green shadows stretch across the scene and highlight the softness of the evening light. This landscape-format Japanese street poster tells a story of peaceful everyday life, under the title “EVENING STREET.”

A Japanese street for the living room or a quiet office

Its horizontal format suits the space above a sofa, a desk or an entryway console. Its soft light and green shadows pair well with light wood, paper, ceramics, plants, and white or beige walls. It can join other posters of Japan or city scenes. A great gift for a Japan lover, a traveler back from Tokyo or Kyoto, a fan of slice-of-life manga, or anyone who enjoys quiet end-of-day moods.
