about this poster

White clown and auguste under the big top poster

Seen from the stands, 2 clowns face each other on the sawdust-covered ring. The white clown wears a sequined costume and a pointed hat, the auguste a red nose and checkered trousers far too big for him. The auguste holds a bunch of colorful balloons on long strings, and the spotlights light up the duo under the striped big top. This circus poster captures the tenderness and humor of this classic pair of the ring. The title “CLOWN TIME” announces their entrance.

A clown duo for a child’s bedroom

Its big top colors and balloons suit a child’s bedroom, a playroom, a hallway or even a cheerful living room. It goes well with painted wood, stripes, colorful rugs and white or pale yellow walls. It can form a series with other circus or funfair posters. A gift for a child’s birthday, a circus performer, an actor, a collector of show imagery or grandparents who loved taking their grandchildren to the circus.

Your questions

Who are the 2 characters on the “CLOWN TIME” poster?

They are the 2 classic figures of the circus: the white clown, elegant in a sequined costume and pointed hat, and the auguste with his red nose and checkered trousers, who holds a bunch of balloons here.

Which room should this clown poster hang in?

It is perfect for a child’s bedroom or a playroom, but it also brightens a hallway or a reading nook. Its bright colors stand out on a light wall.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
